FAQ's
Will children be attending?
No, we’ve chosen to have an adults-only wedding. This wasn’t a decision we made lightly—it’s something we considered carefully with everyone in mind, based on past experiences and what will help us create the day we’re hoping for.
Food
There will be a three course meal for the wedding breakfast. Starter will be a light prawn cocktail, main is a feather blade of beef and the desert will be sticky toffee pudding. Canapes will be served in the drinks reception and there will be steak burgers available in the evening.
Gifts
We don’t expect anything at all, but we’re truly grateful for any gifts or cards we do receive. There’ll be a secure postbox at the venue for anyone who’d like to leave a card.

The Venue
If you still need to book a room, there are limited rooms at the venue left. You can use the code WEDDING to get a 20% discount. This does include breakfast we believe.
Will there be speeches?
Nope – we’re keeping things chilled and relaxed, so there won’t be any speeches. We don’t want anyone (including us!) stressing or overthinking what to say. Just good vibes, good food, and a good time.
Drinks
Prosecco and beer will be provided in the drinks reception and J20's for the none drinkers. There will be 2 pours of wine for everyone during the wedding breakfast and a glass of champagne will be poured for the toast.
Announcements
This might sound a bit cheeky, but we kindly ask that there are no big announcements or surprise proposals on the day. We’ve spent a year planning (and paying for!) this, and we’d really love to keep the focus on the wedding. Thanks for understanding!
Dietary requirements
All dietary requirements were asked for when everyone confirmed they could join us. These have been passed to the venue who have promised that they will sort out behind the scenes for you all. If you have any questions, please speak to Matthew or a member of staff. They have been made fully aware of everything.
Can you take photos?
During the ceremony, we’d really appreciate it if you could keep phones and cameras away and let our photographer take care of the pictures.
Snap away during the rest of the day, but please wait until the next day before posting anything on social media—we’d love to share a few of our own photos first.

Entertainment
So far we have booked a violinist who will be playing two 45 minute sets throughout the day. We have a magician coming to do some close up magic in the evening. We also have a Selfie Pod coming for the evening too.
Music
We have created a playlist of music that people would like to hear - please feel free to add music ideas to the below link.
Online wedding album
We’ll have a shared online album where you can upload your pics so we can all enjoy them in one place. There’ll be a QR code on each table to make it super easy.
