Antony & Liam's Wedding

Timeline of events
We thought it would be fun to document what has happened so far, and how we got there. It will keep getting updated as we go along.

Find the venue
Initially, we were looking somewhere else but it would require a lot of work from ourselves, which in the end would have caused us to be a lot more stressed. So we decided to keep looking, we ended up with Healds Hall as its somewhere we have driven past a number of times but didn't know what the place was like, so we booked into go see them. We knew once we sat down and spoke with Matt that it was the one.
Find the photographer
We're not a massive fan of the posing style of photography, and wanted a more candid oriented style. After looking around online, we found Maddie Farris (https://www.maddiefarrisphotography.co.uk/) and really like what she had done so far.

The bloody cake
Who knew wedding cakes were so expensive?? We looked around at a few bakeries, and found Three Little Birds bakery (https://www.threelittlebirdsbakery.com/weddings). It turns out the venue even recommends this bakery so it felt right. You all better eat it
Something boujee
Liam has always been a fan of string music and always imagined having some at his wedding if he ever got married, so we had to add this to the day. We had a look around and chose Chloe Hayward (https://encoremusicians.com/Chloe-Violinist)

Room planning

We sat down with the wedding decorator yesterday (23/06/25) and this is when things started to get a little real for us, it's all officially coming together now. Shirley was great to speak and really understood the vision that we wanted for the day - https://www.instagram.com/pearlescent_events/?hl=en
Wee magic Al
We went out into Leeds for Antony's birthday in August and found ourself in a really cool bar, its a tailors by day and a bar at night. The night we went, they had Al doing some close up magic which really blew Antony's mind. We were already discussing on whether or not have some evening entertainment so we asked for his business card - he will be joining us for a few hours in the evening so keep an eye out.

Selfie pod

Sod it, we thought lets get a photo booth. Its not your typical photobooth but its really good. It prints your photos there and then, and also allows you to send the photo/gif direct to your phone for safe keeping.
Online wedding album
We have created an online album that everyone can access with the QR code to the side. All you need to do is scan the code, upload your photos and view everyone else's. Please, please remember to upload as many as you can. The album stays live for 2 years.
